上海油压工作室　　If I can bear your love like a lamp before me,

　　I shall not fear the everlasting shadows,

　　Nor cry in terror.

　　A lamp in darkness.

　　人生的道路漫漫，

　　多少险阻艰难;

　　我不怕恐怖的前程，

　　又何惧永久的黑暗!

　　不因艰险而畏缩，

　　不为恐怖而呼喊;

　　只要有你的爱拌着我，

上海油压工作室　　那就是黑夜中的明灯一盏。

　　我的心已满足，

　　我的心再无不安;

　　那怕上帝无处寻找，

　　那怕天国离我更远。

　　萨拉蒂斯代尔(Sara Teasdale1884—1933)美国女诗人在恋人爱的'明灯照耀之下,即使身处永久的黑暗之中,诗人也不因艰险而畏缩,不为恐怖而呼喊;只要有爱长伴,即使远离上帝与天国也心甘情愿。对于笃信基督教的女诗人来说,这已经是离经叛道的奇想了。
