Some people like to travel with friends, because they want to share the pleasure of traveling, and they think the journey will be much easier for they can take care of each other. While some people like to travel alone, they can go anywhere in anytime. They don’t have to care about what the partner’s idea. In my opinion, I’m much preferred to travel with friends, but I always have an urge to travel alone.

　　Firstly, I was told that travel alone can help people to grow up quickly, and that’s what I really need. If you travel alone, you have to do everything by yourself in the journey, for instance, to buy a ticket, to book hotel, and ask directions. That maybe just a small case for extrovert, but for introvert, like me, it’s really a big challenge. I remember the first time I go to travel with friends and my little brother, they did everything, and I just follow and had fun. I even too shame to check into a hotel, and my little brother did it for me. I was humiliated for that. So, travel alone could force introvert to do the things that you don’t dare to do. It could help you to build an outgoing personality. For extrovert, travel alone could enhance your ability to handle emergence case.

　　Secondly, travel alone gives you peace of mind. Image that, you walking alone in the beach, there are no sounds of human beings, just burst of sound waves. You close your eyes, enjoy the moment, you will feel peace.

　　The seaside resort of Qingdao extends from Tuandao in the west of Qingdao to Damaidao in the east with an overall length of 25 kilometers, including a marine area of 5 square kilometers and land area of 8.5 square kilometers. It is one of the first National Scenic Resorts appointed by the State Council in 1982. The scenery of the Zhanqiao Pier, Luxun Park, Little Qingdao Isle, Xiaoyu Hill, Badaguan, the seashore and the May Fourth Square are all beside the sea and constitute the famous scenic sights of Qingdao. Red roves and green trees, sapphire sea and blue sky in the scenic resort will make you feel happy and fresh.

The pier is 440 meters long. There is an octagonal pagoda of distinctive Chinese style, “Huilan Pagoda” at the end of the pier. From the top, tourists can fully view the magnificent sea. Along the shore is the beautiful Pier Park, which is a pleasant and quiet place for tourists to rest or enjoy the scenery of Little Qingdao Isle and its white tower.

　　Travel-mate WantedI’m a 19-year-old female sophomore named Fu Ping. I hereby earnestly invite a foreign young lady—college student preferred—to make a three – week touring trip with me.My plan is to set off next weekend, when the summer vacation officially begins. The first stop is Kunming, the world-renowned city for its beauty and mild temperature. We’ll get there by train and stay there for 2 days, and then we’ll head for Jinggangshan, a former revolutionary base as well as a natural beauty spot. After a 3-day visit there , we will take a long-distance coach to a nearby port city by the Changjiang River and board a downstream ship to Shanghai, so that we can enjoy the great scenery alongside the third longest river in the world. As everybody knows, Shanghai is the busiest and fastest developing city in China. I’d like to have a look at its prosperity, so the stay there will be about half a week. And a famous Chinese saying goes, ”Just as there is Paradise in heaven, there are Suzhou and Hangzhou on Earth ”, so a 4-day visit to these two cities near Shanghai is must.
