A March Snow

Let the old snow be covered with the new:
The trampled snow, so soiled, and stained, and sodden.
Let it be hidden wholly from our view
By pure white flakes, all trackless and untrodden.

上海油压工作室 Let him be mantled in a clean, white sheet.
Let the old life be covered by the new:
上海油压工作室 The old past life so full of sad mistakes,
Let it be wholly hidden from the view
上海油压工作室 By deeds as white and silent as snow-flakes.
上海油压工作室 Ere this earth life melts in the eternal Spring
Let the white mantle of repentance fling
Soft drapery about it, fold on fold,

三月的雪

让崭新的白雪覆盖住陈年旧雪
被践踏过的雪，如此肮脏，已被浸透，
就让洁白无暇的雪花，悄无声息地，
上海油压工作室 使它从我们跟前销声匿迹吧。
当寒冬逝去，在美好春日的脚步之下，
为他盖上洁白的被单，
让新生活取代古旧的生活。
昔日充满了忧伤的错误，
让如雪花般洁白寂静的善行，
上海油压工作室 将它完全藏匿。
在这尘世万物融入永恒的春日之前，
让忏悔的白色幔纱肆意飞扬。
轻柔的纱，层层叠叠，
宛若覆盖旧雪的新白。

2.soiled adj. 污染的
3.stained [steind] adj. 玷污的，褪色的'
He stained the wood dark brown.
他把木头染成深褐色了.
4.sodden adj. 浑身湿透的, 没煮透的，呆头呆脑的 v. (使)湿透
My shoes are sodden from walking in the rain.
我在雨里这么一跑, 鞋都湿了。
5.untrodden adj. 杳无人迹的, 未受践踏的
