　　Ladies and Gentlemen , Good afternoon! I?m very glad to stand here and give you a short speech. today my topic is “youth”. I hope you will like it , and found the importance in your youth so that more cherish it.

　　First I want to ask you some questions:

　　1、 Do you know what is youth?

　　Youth

　　Youth is not a time of life, it is a state of mind ; it is not rosy cheeks , red lips and supple knees, it is a matter of the emotions : it is the freshness ; it is the freshness of the deep springs of life .

上海油压工作室　　Youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity of the appetite , for adventure over the love of ease. This often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20 . Nobody grows old merely by a number of years . We grow old by deserting our ideals.

　　Years wrinkle the skin , but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul . Worry , fear , self –distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust .

上海油压工作室　　Whether 60 of 16 , there is in every human being ?s heart the lure of wonders, the unfailing childlike appetite of what?s next and the joy of the game of living . In the center of your heart and my heart there?s a wireless station : so long as it receives messages of beauty , hope ,cheer, courage and power from men and from the infinite, so long as you are young .

上海油压工作室　　When the aerials are down , and your spirit is covered with snows of cynicism and the ice of pessimism, then you are grown old ,even at 20 , but as long as your aerials are up ,to catch waves of optimism , there is hope you may die young at 80.

　　如果有人问起，我会自豪地说，我是中国人。中国我为你骄傲。

　　Hello, everyone

上海油压工作室　　I’d like to ask you to point out your favorite country if here is a map. Maybe you will choose the United States for the freedom; maybe you will choose French for the romantic. I’d like to say that these are nice countries for traveling. But there is one country in the bottom of my heart, and I will be proud of her forever, that’s China---my motherland!

　　Our great motherland is one of the largest countries in the world. It has a population of over thirteen hundred million. Beijing is its capital.

　　It’s needless to say that China has a long history.Now China is a strong and developing country. Facts have proved that China is a powerful, invincible. If anyone asked, we will proudly say that I am Chinese.I am proud of you-----China.

　　I am a primary school student now; I know that all of us are the future of our nation. So, what we need to do is to study hard step by step, listen carefully in the class and do homework everyday so that we can dedicate ourselves to our nation when we grown up! That’s my speech! 　　Recently I overheard a mother and daughter in their last moments together at the airport. They had announced the departure. Standing near the security gate, they hugged and the mother said "I love you and I wish you enough"

上海油压工作室　　The daughter replied, "Mom, our life together has been more than enough. Your love is all I ever needed. I wish you enough, too, Mom" They kissed and the daughter left. The mother walked over to the window where I was seated. Standing there I could see she wanted and needed to cry. I tried not to intrude on her privacy but she welcomed me in by asking "Did you ever say goodbye to someone knowing it would be forever?"

　　"Yes, I have," I replied. "Forgive me for asking but why is this a forever goodbye?" "I am old and she lives so far away. I have challenges ahead and the reality is -- the next trip back will be for my funeral" she said.

上海油压工作室　　"When you were saying goodbye, I heard you say 'I wish you enough'. May I ask what that means?" She began to smile "That's a wish that has been handed down from other generations. My parents used to say it to everyone".

　　She paused a moment and looked up as if trying to remember it in detail and she smiled even more. "When we said 'I wish you enough' we were wanting the other person to have a life filled with just enough good things to sustain them".

　　Then turning toward me she shared the following as if she were reciting it from memory --

　　I wish you enough sun to keep your attitude bright. I wish you enough rain to appreciate the sun more. I wish you enough happiness to keep your spirit alive. I wish you enough pain so that the smallest joys in life appear much bigger. I wish you enough gain to satisfy your wanting. I wish you enough loss to appreciate all that you possess. I wish you enough hellos to get you through the final good-bye.

　　How I wish to live a house surrounded by limpid water! From the windows of the house you could see the clear water flowing by. Yes, it is like a beautiful drawing. Yes, it is my good dream!

　　Blue has always been my favorite color， and I think it will always continue to be so。

　　I have several reasons for liking this color best。 First， it is a very soothing color and makes people happy。 How do people feel when they wake up to day when the sky is a dirty grey？ Sad and gloomy。 But when the sky is a deep blue， good cheer and joy enters our hearts。

上海油压工作室　　Another reason why I am most partial to blue is that it is the color of oceans and rivers and lakes on a sunny day。 Whenever I go swimming， I feel as though I were reborn。

上海油压工作室　　In my estimation， blue is a very refined a noble color。 I have several suits of clothes of different colors， but somehow blue seems to be most becoming to me。 At the same time， all my friends say that I tend to look slim and taller whenever I’m dressed in blue。

　　I have also heard that in English， the term “true blue” means to be faithful。 As I have a great respect for the quality of faithfulness， this is one more reason for my liking blue so much。

上海油压工作室　　love should be selfless, and feelings should be sincere. we shouldn't judge our feelings according to the distance of the relationship. everyone treasures love and nobody can fool himself or the others. a chinese saying goes: real heroes yearn even more for true love, and great men cherish tender love for their children.

　　we are the saint on earth, and should treasure our love, but we should know how much is good and where to stop. since there's no ever-lasting banquet, nor is there an endless love story, we should take the gains and losses of love with perfect composure. there's fragrant grass in every corner of the earth, and you can always find your love in this world.

　　As it is warmer and warmer nowadays, most people have their T-shirts on, just like me.Among all the clothes that I have, I like my T-shirts most, because I feel comfortable wearing them. They are light and makes my skin breath freely.And what’s more important is that I can get my favorite pictures on them.For example, I have a T-shirt with Micky on it.Besides, T-shirts are cheap, especially when we buy them on the Internet.
