　　in my 18 years of life, there have been many things. university days are the best part of them. i can never forget the days when i stepped into my university. i was impressed by its garden-like campus, its enthusiastic students and especially its learning atmosphere. i at once fell in love with it.

　　after the arduous military training, i get absolutely absorbed in my studies. the classes given by the teachers are excellent. they provide us with information not only from our textbooks but from many other sources as well. they easily arouse my insatiable desire to take in as much as i can.

上海油压工作室　　learning is a long process; i'll keep exploring in the treasure house of knowledge to enrich myself. this summer i got out of the ivory tower and entered the real world. a publishing house offered me a part-time job in compilation and revision.

　　at the beginning i was belittled by my colleagues. but they were really surprised when i translated seven english articles over 5,000 words on only one day.

　　gradually, they began to look at me with respectful eyes. in their opinion i turned out to be a useful and trustworthy colleague.

　　i also realize that only those who bring happiness for others can be truly happy. so i often take part in activities concerning public welfare. i once went to a barren mountain village with my classmates. we taught the kids there who could not afford school.

　　besides study and social practice, there are entertainments as well. i do body building every day, hoping to keep healthy and energetic. we also write a play and put it on in our spare time.

　　campus life is the most splendid time. but different people have different choices. the majority of students cherish their beautiful season and cherish the hope that one day they'll become outstanding. but there are indeed some students still under ignorance. they gather together for eating, drinking or playing cards.

　　Walt Disney had a dream, which, in itself, wasn't unusual -- he was always dreaming. He dreamed of making the first animated feature film, and of building an amusement park where parents, together with their kids, could enjoy themselves. Walt Disney empowered his dream and today, Disneyland, Disney world and Disney theme parks attract around the world thrill millions of visitors each year.

　　John F. kennedy had a dream. He wanted to land a man on the moon and return him safely to the earth so as to restore faith in the American way of life. John F.kennedy empowered his dream and 8 years later Neil Armstrong stepped on the face of the moon. The moon landing certainly gave Americans a newly-founded confidence. Dream --- A world-changing word? Yes ,I will say so ,won't you ? Youth is a special life-relaying station , the growth with the worry ,the life feeling become aware happily with the dream ,collecting a unique youth melody here .

　　I’m very honored to stand here and give you a short speech! my topic is Opportunities and Challenges.

　　First, I would like to know, what does your destiny offer you? Happiness, wisdom, a strong body or something else. If I had asked this question to president Ni_on, he would probably had said,”Our destiny offers not the cup of despair, but the chalice of opportunity.”

　　Needless to say, one of the biggest opportunities given to China is the 20xx Olympic Games. Till now, we have used two sevenths of the preparation time. How much changes have you seen? New roads, new subway lines, public-e_ercising equipments with beautiful colors, large blocks of grass fields, and also lots of modern gyms which are under construction.

上海油压工作室　　Other than those, there are even more good effects brought to us by the Olympic Games that cannot be seen directly. For e_ample, more and more people will get to know China. I’m sure the mysterious Chinese culture will attract them strongly. And the games will also do good to the economy and environment, for it is gaining the attention of foreign investors and the awareness of environmental protection is being strengthened. What is more, Olympic Games give a unique opportunity to inspire and educate a new generation of Chinese youth with the Olympic values and the Olympic spirit. Now that we have seen so many advances, could you even imagine us losing the holding rights?

　　I’ve already said a lot about the Olympics and China. But I think everyone should use some time to think of this question, ”Does the Olympic Games have any special meaning to you?”

　　For us, I mean the Chinese youth, 20xx Olympic Games is a tremendous gift. Because what we are waiting for is to do something significant as repaying the love given to us .The society is just like a ship, and in our dreams the captain is waving his hand and saying ”Hey! Come here and take the helm! ”How charming his voice is, but we have never heard of it in our true life. This morning, however, when we wake up, we will see the Olympic Games waving its hand. After chewing, most of us will have at least one plan about what to do for the Olympic Games. And mine is to be a “comforter” ----that is someone who will give comfort to others.

　　At the end of my speech, I hope all the preparation will go well, and everyone will show their ability to the world. Let us seize opportunities and give a big smile to challenges.

First of it you should slice the cucumber into pieces cook the soy bean and green bean for about ten minutes then put these material in a bowl. Second stir-frying the paste. Last put the paste onto the noodles you have prepare and add the cucumber soy bean and green bean to the noodles. The fried bean paste noodles are done. If you have time you can try this I sure you will love it.

We've grown used to the idea of space, and, perhaps we forget that we've only just begun. We're still pioneers. They, the members of the Challenger crew, were pioneers.

上海油压工作室　　And I want to say something to the schoolchildren of America who were watching the live coverage of the shuttle's take-off. I know it's hard to understand, but sometimes painful things like this happen. It's all part of the process of exploration and discovery. It's all part of taking a chance and expanding man's horizons. The future doesn't belong to the fainthearted; it belongs to the brave. The Challenger crew was pulling us into the future, and we'll continue to follow them.

上海油压工作室　　I've always had great faith in and respect for our space program. And what happened today does nothing to diminish it. We don't hide our space program. We don't keep secrets and cover things up. We do it all up front and in public. That's the way freedom is, and we wouldn't change it for a minute.

　　We'll continue our quest in space. There will be more shuttle flights and more shuttle crews and, yes, more volunteers, more civilians, more teachers in space. Nothing ends here; our hopes and our journeys continue.

　　I want to add that I wish I could talk to every man and woman who works for NASA, or who worked on this mission and tell them: "Your dedication and professionalism have moved and impressed us for decades. And we know of your anguish. We share it."

In his lifetime the great frontiers were the oceans, and a historian later said, "He lived by the sea, died on it, and was buried in it." Well, today, we can say of the Challenger crew: Their dedication was, like Drake's, complete.

　　The crew of the space shuttle Challenger honored us by the manner in which they lived their lives. We will never forget them, nor the last time we saw them, this morning, as they prepared for their journey and waved goodbye and "slipped the surly bonds of earth" to "touch the face of God."

I entered one of the most famous universities in China with the almost lowest English mark among all my students. I was really disappointed about that. Although I was not good at English when I was in the middle school, it was not at least about the average. I had no strength to face the frustration. After a semester's study I was the lowest indeed. I have never cried for study before, but this time I shed tears. Since then I made up my mind to pass CET-6 before my graduation. Glanced back to my English studying experience, I realized that interest is one of the key factors to grasp knowledge. I study English only for the examination before, but not the language itself. That is the weakest point of me. I must overcome it so as to realize my dream. I made a plan: read one story until I can recite it each day; listen to the tapes related to the books as well. English is not so disgusting for me now. I will persist in doing so even after I pass CET-6. I wish my English would be as good as my native language in the future. 演

　　good morning ladies and gentlemen, today, i would like to introduce my beloved hometown—inner mongolia to all of you. it has been 57 years since the birth of the inner mongolia autonomous region on may 1st, 1947. dominated by the mongolian nationality, the inner mongolia autonomous region is located on the northern frontier of china. the inner mongolia autonomous region occupies an area of 1.18 million square kilometers and has a population of about 20 million people who represent a score of different nationalities. every time when people talk about inner mongolia, they’ll come down to the vast grassland. yes, the inner mongolian prairie area makes up a quarter of the total grassland area of the country. on the boundless expanse of the inner mongolian prairie are living numerous sheep, cattle and horses, on which our mongolian have lived for generations. that is why the grassland is eulogized as “cradle of life”. there are two vast grasslands in my hometown—hulun buir grasslands and xilin gol grasslands which are both world-famous regions. people in inner mongolia are famous for their bravery, enthusiasm and hospitality. no mater where you are from, as long as you come to a herdsman’s house, you will be warmly entertained with roasted whole lamb and milk tea, and what’s more, you can also appreciate beautiful mongolian songs and elegant dances. it is not exaggerating to say mongolians are born singers and dancers. the moment you set your feet on the grassland areas you will discover it is indeed a real land of songs and dances.

　　today’s inner mongolia still maintains her ethnic characteristics and at the dame time, she tries to keep pace with the development of the modern world. ordus is a worldwide well-known brand, yili and mengniu are both the famous dairy industries, which have greatly improved the living standard of our mongolian people. and i’m sure, our mongolian people will make great effort to contribute to our hometown. as a college student, i know quuite clearly that my mission is to master solid knowledge and one day do good to my beloved hometown.

However, most non-smokers regard the ban as good news. As far as I’m concerned, smoking should be banned in all the public places such as restaurants, theaters and public squares.

　　On the one hand, smoking is harmful both for smokers themselves and others. It is reported that every year smoking causes millions of death around the world. On the other hand, smoking pollutes the air. Just imagine that you sit in a restaurant full of smoke, how can you enjoy your meal there? Besides, smoking is bad for the elevation of a country’s image in the world.

　　Change is what keeps us fresh,change is what keeps us young,change is what keeps us from getting stale and stuck in a rut. I’d like to share a famous saying of Gandhi with all of you,what is, if you want to change the world, then you must change yourself first. Actually, we cannot change the past, but we can change the present, we cannot change the fact, but we can change our manner, we cannot change the weather, but we can change our mood, we cannot change life’s length, but we can change life’s width. Never complain that life is boring and the world is disappointing. If you don’t like the taste of your life, just change the ingredients.

We must realize that it is never too late to begin making changes that can change our life. The moral to it is to change what you see and don’t like. Today always beats tomorrow. Today is the only day we have. Tomorrow is only a promise and may never come. Dream for tomorrow but live for today. Make your changes and do it now. Life makes no guarantees as to what you’ll have. It just give you time to make changes, and to take chances, and to discover what secrets might come your way. It is an honor to stand here and have this chance to say that we are the ones who can make a change and let a brighter day come.
