Light Rail in Hillsborough County

By MySHadmin - Posted on 05 March 2010

HIllsborough Area Region Transit (HART) is looking at light rail solutions for the area. One of the proposed North/South legs goes right through Seminole Heights, possibly on Nebraska Avenue.

If you are interested in know more, here are a few links to light rail resources:

There was a point in my life where I thought I might be moving to London, UK.  I was excited and jumped online to check out the cost and availability of rental housing.  I was quickly struck by how prominent the nearest subway (tube) stop was in the ad. Some sites actually organized housing by tube stop.  These locations were also highly desireable to local businesses because thousands of potential customers were being dropped off in their area each day.

If the greater Seminole Heights area can get behind this, we stand a good chance of lobbying the City and County to get this thing installed right down one of our major streets (or maybe even along the freeway berm.)
